We recently put in a BID for a Bank Owned propertu through our real esate agent along with a check of $1000. All given to our realtor. 1 week later, our check was cashed and we were notified that the bank did not take our offer and they have taken another offer? My questions are: rn1. Why did they cash the check if they did not take the bid?rn2. Why were we not offered to counter bid?rnWe were already pre-approved for a mortgage and we included the Good Faith Estimate from the Mortgage Company? Is that not considered DISCRIMINATION, if we were not offered to counter bid? Please Help, for we are first time buyers and in need of guidance, because we feel like we cannot trust our Realtor?

FHA has more requirements. FHA needs property in good conditions since it is insuring the loan.
