You can offer any amount you want and your offers of $120-$123 seem reasonable. You don't want to usually go less than 10% off asking price. If the bank is not happy with your offer, they will most likely counter. You will see from their counter how serious they are. I just had a bid accepted for $168K on a property that was originally listed for $225. But I am going to have to make about $75K in repairs. House sold in 2007 for $495K. |
