Glad you asked! A Realtor® is a licensed Real Estate Sales Associate and a member in good standing with the local and National Association of Realtors® (NAR) and is bound by a certain code of ethics and professionalism. A Real Estate Agent is someone who has completed the required education and received their Real Estate Sales License. In order for them to be able to use the term Realtor® , they must now join a Real Estate Company and become a member of the local and National Association of Realtors® (NAR). Both are able to sell Real Estate in most states but only one can use the term Realtor®. www.fredtomaro.com
