We are in suburban central NJ where houses typical sell quickly in the $500k - $700k range. The house has vintage '60s windows that need replacing. We don't like vinyl replacement windows but most houses now have them. To get the clad wood that we like will double the installation cost. We'll be selling in 4-5 years so is the additional investment in nice windows a selling point we'll recoup?rn
