Multiple Listing Service Multiplies Profit

The Internet and Multiple Listing Services (MLS) are turning the real estate industry on its head. Every month 25 million people log on to these services and within seconds they have access to thousands of properties all around the world.

This is nothing short of a revolution for an industry that used to hold it’s listing tighter than a frat boy holds his beer. The service is also creating a fracture in the industry where real estate brokers have to make a decision whether they will cling to the tried and true, or make the leap of faith in to MLS universe.

We might not know for a while if MLS really is the wave of the future, but we do know for certain that the MLS genie is out of the bottle and is granting peoples wishes for their dream homes at an alarming rate.
