It was announced today by the PeopleSoft Inc. that their new program PeopleSoft AREF (Enterprise One Advanced Real Estate) has been used by New Plan Excel and Granite Properties.
Combined with the existing PeopleSoft Real Estate Management and Financial Management programs, the new introduction will help to make an even more detailed view of real estate businesses financial forecast. What this means is that the real estate companies will be able to draw a 15-year old budget that is based on multiple lease scenarios.
The program is very useful as commercial real estate companies are sometimes struggling to figure out single budgets for different projects. The companies have to also predict potential revenue and expenses that are based on multiple property scenario transactions.
PeopleSoft AREF will make budgeting as well as forecasting more accurate, which in turn will give more accurate revenue forecasts in real time. This will allow for more educated decisions regarding investment portfolios as well as better guideline to allocating resources based on the projections.
