I have inherited a home. According to a recent appraisal the home is worth $400K +. The home is not livable in it's current condition and certainly not mortgabale. I have been told the home would probably be sold to a developer who will more than likely gut the home and resell. Are there any websites or a place where I can obtain information on the process? The home is located in NYS.
