Should I bother looking at homes that are listed as For Sale By Owner? I don't want to get ripped off or end up dealing with some weird person?

Wendy, you can find some great deals when it comes to homes that are listed as FSBO. Usually independant sellers are willing to negotiate quite a bit and if you are leary of FSBO transactions you can hire an agent to help you with your purchase negotiations and a lawyer to assist you with legalities.
