I followed a house thru an auction, and no one bid. It went back to the bank. Now I would like to make an offer but i am not sure WHO to contact? If you know who own the REO do you ask for the REO department or should you have a Realtor make the contact?

At some point they will list with a listing agency contact the bank tell them you want to know who is the listing agent on a particular property because you would like to purchase it

Go directly to the bank..some have an REO dept some you might have to contact a few people to get to the right person..You want to get to them before someone else does
