I bought a house with what I feel was very little representation from my real estate agent. I have a list of repairs that were supposed to be done prior to closing per negotiations per the inspection. I walked thru the house with my real estate agent before closing to see if repairs were done. I called my inspector at that time to ask a question about a repair. I asked my agent if he could come back out & check things. I was advised that was not necessary, the seller had repairs done by a licensed contractor as stated in the contract. As a first time buyer, I was overwhelmed with everything and trusted the professionals hired to do their job. rnThere are several things wrong with the house now. Things that were supposed to be fixed are not right; the seller did the repairs himself & damaged other things in the house. Also I feel did not disclose a lot of info.rnPlease help!! My agent is not any help. In addition, the seller would not answer any questions and said he did not have time to chat with me.rnWhat if any recourse do I have?rnDo I need an attorney?rnrnThank You, rnrnJaquel Austin [email protected]
