What renovations are the best to do in order to add more value to a house for resale purposes?

YOu can't go wrong renovating a kitchen. Adding updated appliances and new flooring should really increase your home's resale value.

Before you do any renovations make sure you take care of anything that looks worn out, especially on the outside of your house. Curb appeal is very important so repaint, fix the roof, repair the deck and tend to the lawn.

Hardwood flooring always catches the eyes of potential buyers so if you have old peeling laminate or stained carpet pick out a nice rich wood and replace the flooring where ever you can.

An easy way to make your home more attractive to potential buyers is to work on landscaping. Add flowers, a new layer of sod and maybe even some hedges.

It really depends on your home and the area that you are in.

I would consider adding new flooring, painting and renovating your bathrooms.
