If you apply for a loan jointly, then the lenders will look at both the credit scores. |

The answer to your question is, even if you are married you are still an individual and that is how each lender views it. Your partner may be on your credit report but they do not effect it. |

It is completely up to you. Everyone on title needs to be on the loan. However, if one has bad credit, they can quit claim off of title and simply grant deed back on after the loan is complete. To answer your question, each individual has their own FICO score. As far as lenders, it depends on the type of loan program you are going for. Married couples are viewed as individuals as far as FICO is concerned BUT may be viewed as one as far as income and debt are concerned.
