I am looking to buy a home thats built on a sloping lot. The lot slopes 30 degrees upwards towards the back. So the garage is under the main floor. Now the house is great. I like everything in the house. It has a great view, hardwood floors, granite, etc. But the house has a huge flight of stairs in the front. It has about 30 steps. If the stairs weren't there, I would've bought the house. Will the stairs affect the resale value? Do you guys see any problems in buying this home? -Kathy

If the stairs look daunting they will probably effect the resale value because some buyers will rule out the house just by looking at it.
