I was reading the condominum by-laws of this place i'm interested in, and I noticed a clause stating that they could 'search' my condo if they suspected illegal activity. Isn't that unconstitutional?

I'm assuming you're not actually planning on doing anything illegal in your condo, but it's still not something you'd want to get yourself signed into.

On the other hand, if you're discreet and mind your own business then they won't suspect anything now, will they?

This clause is included to protect everyone who lives in your building. If there is a prostution ring or a murderer operating out of one of the units in your building wouldn't you like to know about it?
