During a final walk thru of a newly developed townhouse (20 unit developement) I noticed that our back porch view of the golf course had been blocked with shrubs. To elaborate on the layout, the rear porches of the first two townhomes in our building have front views of the adjacent townhouse, our unit being #3 and #4 being the end unit have rear porches that sit directly on the course. Shrubbery would indeed be helpful to the first two units, considering the view, however ends just at the end of my unit, not encumbering the last unit. When questioned the builder stated that they had to follow the exact landscaping plan, every plant and shrub had to be exact. I don't know if there is a seperate landscaping plan from the plans that were supplied to me when I purchased the unit however nowhere in my plans does it show any shrubbery behind the units, on the contrary the drawings shows a walkway. What is the point of having a rear screened porch on the green if it is blocked with shrubbery? Eighteen of the 20 units have porches on the green, mine is the only one blocked. Does this explanation make any sense at all? PLEASE HELP!!!
