I am currently taking an online Sales Associate course. Its going pretty good and I am very interested in learning. How difficult should I expect the State Exam to be? Somewhat Similar to the Chapter Exams I have been completing? Thanks

Hi Jerry,
On the State Exam the are not many question which we have be testet in the school.
I fail allready 4 times!!!
I did talk to the Prommisor Personal an they have confirmed the Students coming back up to 5 or 6 times befor they pass.
Good luck to you.

I got a 95% on my class exam. I have taken the state exam 2 times and did not recognize most of the questions. They all seemed foreign. I know the book inside and out. So, I just wanted to warn you that no matter how well you do in class the test will more then likely be difficult and foreign. I have 8 friends that have either passed their class and are on their 3rd or 4th time taking the state and friends that are real estate sales associates and brokers that say it took them at LEAST 2 times to pass. It's $31.50 each time and I'm beginning to think it's all about the money. So to answer your question regarding your expectations of the exam being similar....it's for sure NOT. I would advice you to take the prep course prior to your state exam. I did not and failed, as I said, 2 times. I am taking the prep course ($60) this weekend. I'm not trying to scare or disaappoint you but I am merely telling you facts. I'm on the prowl now trying to find out the statistics on the state exam. They tell you that only 41% pass the 1st time....that's a lie. It's more like 26%.

Oh, by the way, best of luck to you. There are people who DO pass the state the 1st try....just not too many of them.

Man, you guys must be dumbed or something. I passed it the first time. All I did was read the book a couple of nights before the test. Never paid attention in class. It's all deductive reasoning.

iam going to take the exam on Oct 24,2005. I have been studying for about 6 hours a day for a week and through the weekend too. I hope this will be enough. There is so much material to cover. Good Luck.
